The Medical Device Authority (MDA) is excited to announce that starting 1st August 2026, the application process for product classification will be conducted entirely online through an online Product Classification Application System. This initiative aims to enhance efficiency, streamline submissions, and improve the overall experience for applicants.

  • Online Submission: All applications for product classification must be submitted via the designated online Product Classification Application System starting 1st August 2026. This will ensure a more organized and accessible process. The Google Form application will be closed on 1stAugust 2026 and replace by the online platform.
  • Email Notifications: Upon approval, the official product classification letter will be sent directly to the email address provided in the application form. Please note that hard copies will no longer be mailed out.

We encourage all applicants to prepare for this transition and familiarize themselves with the new online submission process. Further information and instructions will be provided closer to the implementation date.
